The thing is, there’s still one issue – when I eject the drives and take out the card, the driver seems to go into a kind of loop – the system will not see the drives again if I re-insert the card, and if the computer is put to sleep it will not wake up. I find that I have caldkgit boot up with the drive already connected to reliably get USB 3. But as the drivers improve I figure access to my dock will probably improve as well, and for me this has been a more stable connection.
Bottom line, so far, able to immediately speak to a human being when I called with a question, which for me is a big plus.
